THE JESUS COMMANDMENTS

The Ten Commandments continued when the commander came to the earth to show and teach us Gods heart. In the Old Testament, God gave Moses instructions or commandments concerning character requirements. In the new Testament or the Gospels, He came to tell us more himself. Remember that the things that Jesus said in Mathew, mark, Luke and John are as much Gods commandments as the Ten commandment, especially when you consider that the Great EMMANUEL spoke them himself.

Here is one of such scriptures :

            MATHEW 5:44(AMPLIFIED)

BUT I TELL YOU, LOVE YOUR ENEMIES

            AND PRAY FOR THOSE WHO

            PERSECUTE YOU

            MATTHEW 5:44(KJV)

BUT I SAY UNTO YOU, LOVE YOUR ENEMIES,

           BLESS THEM THAT CURSE YOU,

DO GOOD TO THEM THAT HATE YOU,

AND PRAY FOR THEM WHICH DESPITEFULLY USE YOU,

          AND PERSECUTE YOU

Wow !  DO GOOD TO THEM THAT HATE YOU….

I hope you are Christian enough to obey that scripture? Well nobody said serving God is easy, but if you really love and respect Jesus, you will trust him to strengthen you to do the right thing at any cost!

  1. Hahaha! yeah one has to be a true Christian to obey that, not people who can wear and take off their faith lol! , sometimes we are ridden by our emotions and we tend to forget that we ought to love ALL. I’m thinking of someone who steals my phone (hypothetically speaking) and then I look blankly and say ” I love you O thief who stole my phone! ” Lool! It takes us to be sold out even in our supposedly logical mind and replacing it with the mind of christ to love our enemies. I’m enjoying this Freda! More Grace!

  2. Thanks for the reminder, it’s really easy to forget to ” Do good to those who hate you” unless you realize that your not doing it for them you are actually doing it for God. #BestexampleJESUS# thanks for the share Freda
